CourseAvenue Expands e-Learning Software Suite
Warrenville, IL - Monday, January 30, 2006
CourseAvenue, a global provider of web based, collaborative rapid e-Learning applications and services, today announced the expansion of its learning suite. The collection of products formerly named "TeamAvenue" have been folded into the CourseAvenue Learning Suite.
The Learning Suite is the first completely web-based solution for content development (Studio), learning delivery (Deliver), and assessment analytics (Analyze). Recognizing the wide range of needs for Learning Management Systems (LMS) or "tracking" functionality, the Learning Suite offers a wide range of options – from simple "launch and track" to a full functional enterprise-class Learning Management System.
"The vast majority of e-Learning software on the market leave out a key component to a complete solution - content development" stated CourseAvenue CEO, Joe Gorup. "Organizations spend significant amount of time and effort setting up an infrastructure to track learning – then realize the difficulties associated with creating content. The CourseAvenue Studio component of the Suite allows team-based authoring of content – without installing any desktop software. The AICC or SCORM courses can then be published via our "one-touch" publishing feature to the Deliver component of the our Learning Suite - or to any standards compliant LMS".
"CourseAvenue Studio is establishing a uniform standard for team based rapid e-Learning," said Gorup, "Customers aren't looking for single author or developer based solutions. The Studio product provides scalability, efficiency and empowers teams in the development of content and courses."
CourseAvenue's Studio platform is currently utilized by leading Fortune 1000 companies around the world.
CourseAvenue is the global leader in web-based, collaborative, rapid e-Learning solutions.
